For decades age-care facilities have had a one size fits all aproach to residents. Many discrimination cases have been reported (imagine being deiscriminated agaisnt in your own home and / or for services which keep you alive).
Demographic shifts now mean that the numbers of residents who do not identify as straight is rising, catching many age care facility operators off-guard.
